Fibreglass (GRP) gritted solid plate has been developed to be installed on top of new or existing flooring materials such as steel, aluminium, concrete or timber to substantially improve safety standards. Fibreglass (GRP) gritted solid plate is generally supplied in panel sizes up to 3.66 x 1.2m. Larger panels can be manufactured to special order. Also, Fibreglass (GRP) solid plate can be factory cut to special sizes, usually at no extra cost.

The walking surface of Fibreglass (GRP) solid plate is coated with a layer of angular quartz grit, which is integrally bonded. This proves an economical safe solution to slippery walking surfaces. The gritted surface installed on top of the Fibreglass (GRP) solid plate has one of the highest degrees of slip resistance ever measured for a walking area.

Various types of stainless steel fixings and adhesives can be supplied to secure the Anti-Slip Fibreglass (GRP) solid plate onto various substrates. Standard colours are BLACK or LIGHT GREY. Other colours can be produced to specification.

Standard Fibreglass – grp Handrailing colours are grey and safety yellow. The top handrail is ergonomically designed, and is supplied with end caps. A tubular mid (knee) rail and kick plate is available for safety reasons. Fibreglass – grp Handrailing vertical posts are 50 x 50mm square fibreglass profiles generally secured at the base using Fibreglass box sockets, which are bolted to a Fibreglass Grating floor or other structures.

Robust plant and equipment can be fabricated in-house, and delivered to site in complete form, or in manageable sections for final assembly on location. Pultruded Fabrications and Assemblies , such as stairways, access platforms, walkways, step-over platforms can be fitted with various anti-slip fibreglass floor grating mesh or solid anti-slip structural flooring. Also, Handrailing Systems are designed to compliment our Pultruded Fabrications and Assemblies. Pultruded Fabrications and Assemblies are an alternative construction material to steel, aluminium and timber. However, Fibreglass has excellent thermal and non-conductive properties, and requires minimal maintenance.
